I’m what you may call a skin care insider.
Working in the skin industry comes with the perks of getting early access to many brands right when (or even before) they reach the public.
I get most excited when a new natural product is introduced into the market. Especially when it includes the anti-aging holy grail ingredient called Retinol.
Dermatologists say Retinol is the best anti-aging ingredient in the skin care market. The retinol treatments I’ve explored are often spotlighted on major beauty retailers’ homepages and featured in emails, social media, the works.
Professional-strength formulas packed with ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce should have been a red flag, but we all want results, right?
Alas, some of these $150+ artificial treatments would cause my skin to sting, peel and become inflamed. That’s why I was eagerly anticipating a natural product with retinol.
Then, I finally got my hands on Earths Cure Anti-Aging Moisturizer...
WHAT IS IT?
Think of it as your all-in-one anti-aging treatment. I know that sounds almost too good to be true, but after only a few weeks I noticed I had slowly moved my creams, serums and other products out of my regimen.
I simply didn’t need all of it anymore.
This cream replaced my acne spot treatment after a week, a pigmentation serum shortly after that, and, eventually, my nighttime oil booster.
The antioxidants, retinol, hyaluronic acid and oils in Earths Cure formula allowed me to pare down my regimen to essentially three steps (I originally had seven).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Upon doing some investigative research, I learned the amazing results are purely driven by the moisturizer’s natural ingredients.
Vitamin C and Vitamin E work together to repel free radicals and help boost my skin’s natural radiance, diminishing sun spots and hyperpigmentation.
Hyaluronic Acid (my personal favorite ingredient of all time) and Vitamin B5 gave my skin a double dose of hydration. My complexion was instantly plump and moisturized right as I applied the cream. Plus, hyaluronic acid continues to draw in moisture throughout the day, which keeps dryness at bay. This is particularly important for me since my skin is naturally on the dry, dehydrated side.
And lastly, Retinol. This cream was able to dispel any fears I originally had about this ingredient. I was finally able to see the smoothing of wrinkles, brightening and acne-fighting benefits of Retinol without the negative side effects.
This is because Retinol increases collagen production in the skin. Collagen is the protein that makes our skin nice and tight! After we age past 25 years old, collagen diminishes which results in saggy skin and wrinkles.
